Our Financial Services communications team is on the lookout for hungry, energetic, bright, proactive and ambitious PR professionals at the Associate Account Executive / Account Executive / Senior Account Executive level to join the practice.
It is a chance to develop a real career here, with opportunities to learn, excel and progress, while tackling some important and inspiring communications work. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years' experience in PR and marketing. However, with flexibility in seniority of the role, this is not mandatory. We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic about this sector, with a proactive, open-minded attitude.
We'd be looking for you to:
Build your media contacts network (we will allocate you budget towards this)
Carry out regular news monitoring and pitch stories to journalists (whether that be via email, phone or social)
Support on copywriting (including involvement in client briefing calls) whether that be social posts, press releases, blogs or op-eds
Communicate and build relationships directly with clients
Lead on account admin, including monthly reports, call scheduling and updating of press lists
Support the team by contributing to creative campaign ideas for clients
Support the team with new business pitches, research, and proposals
Support the team on competitor analysis and research around industry developments
Develop strategic understanding of brand, marketing and comms
Develop understanding of the role of digital communications as a central thread of activity
Develop personal career path, with close support of your line manager to uncover the best opportunities to aid your growth
