The role of the Associate Dean in the Primary Care School (PCS) helps support the Head of School of Primary Care and the Primary Care Dean in managing corporate, statutory and non-statutory functions, aligning with the NHSE WT&E mandate. The role is focussed firmly upon improving patient and learner safety and experience and ensuring effective educational outcomes.
The postholder will be expected to have significant experience of clinical and educational leadership and a track record of delivery in education and service.
They will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills with an ability to influence and motivate others in a politically sensitive environment.
These roles will require an understanding of healthcare/multi-professional workforce matters and experience of working with learners in an educational context.
