Working Hours & Shift Pattern

As an Associate Dentist in this well-established dental practice in the historic Georgian town of Whitehaven, Cumbria conveniently located near the stunning Lake District National Park. You will provide high-quality general dentistry to a loyal and varied patient base. You will benefit from digital systems, modern equipment and a skilled support team. Key Responsibilities
Provide a full range of general dental treatments aligned with best practice and clinical guidelines
Carry out examinations, diagnoses and personalised treatment planning
Deliver preventative and restorative dentistry with strong patient focus
Communicate treatment options clearly to support informed decisions
Maintain accurate clinical records in line with regulatory standards
Collaborate with dental nurses, reception and management to ensure smooth workflows
Contribute to a safe, compliant clinical environment (GDC, CQC, practice protocols)
Promote oral health through patient education and preventative care
Support and grow private treatment offerings where appropriate
Engage in audits, meetings and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
Qualified Dentist with full GDC registration and UK working rights
Experience as an Associate or General Dentist in a practice setting
Right to work within the UK (no sponsorship)
Competent in a broad range of routine and restorative treatments
Excellent communication skills and reassuring chairside manner
Commitment to patient-centred care, compliance and professional development
Strong organisational skills suited to part-time clinical schedules
