In this role you will:



Take the lead in identifying ambitious opportunities and shaping AI product vision, strategy, and roadmaps in alignment with GSK's R&D goals. Drive innovation by proactively exploring, adopting, and testing novel AI technologies, using creative problem-solving to address business pain points while leveraging partnerships and market insights. Lead and motivate a cross-functional team of machine learning developers, engineers, and domain experts to achieve product milestones. Compute, analyze, and document AI model performance metrics while identifying and implementing strategies to enhance model accuracy and effectiveness. Collaborate with subject matter experts in pre-clinical research, clinical trial design and operation, precision medicine, regulatory science, and CMC to achieve scientifically sound and high-quality simulation modeling and analytical solutions. Establish clear AI roadmaps and ensure business objective and stakeholder alignment throughout the product life cycle.

Basic Qualifications:



We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:



Bachelor's degree in computer science, bioinformatics, applied math, statistics or engineering. Strong product management experience with domain specific expertise in AI/ML and mechanistic modeling (designing, developing and maintaining both mechanistic and data driven products for in-silico running of R&D pharma laboratory experiments). Experience in partnering with R&D labs domain (Pre-Clinical and CMC) and in the digitalization of technical process development through modeling, including the end-to-end digital process setup, testing and maintenance. Experience in Confluent Kafka, Mendix, MS Azure stack and Agile tool kits such as JIRA or Azure DevOps. Experience of AI/ML model metrics (e.g., F1 and AI-contents evaluation metrics) including human-in-the-loop (HITL) AI/ML monitoring. Programming experience (R/SQL/Python) analyzing data sets and making decisions based on data, as well as experience with prompt engineering techniques to improve solution accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong Business Partnering skills, proven experience in identifying opportunities to leverage technology to solve Business Problems and track of record in delivering and managing such products. Strong written and verbal communication skills in technical presentations and team objective and milestone reporting. Experience managing the full AI product lifecycle, including incorporating customer feedback into product requirements, prioritizing features, and overseeing both pre- and post-launch activities. Experience working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, procurement, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones. Proficiency in AI-based tools in market research, product requirement, and user research to enhance efficiency. Enthusiastic and resilient in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are key. Hands-on experience in databricks, Azure AI stack, or GCP AI stack as well as prompt programming such as DSPy.
