We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Sales Associate Director specialising in Embedded Finance to join us who will have responsibility of launching and growing a new proposition into market

This is a role that matters as you\'ll support defining and implementing new client sales strategies in a new and growing team to increase market share with a strong focus on UK.

You\'ll work in partnership with colleagues across the bank network to nurture and build a pipeline of opportunities as well as crafting opportunities in the market.

You\'ll be an experienced Embedded Finance sales professional, with a proven track record of winning clients in the large corporate market. You\'ll be passionate about delivering outstanding results, focused on client needs with a strong desire and ability to build and lead a successful sales function. You\'ll recruit, mentor, and inspire a growing sales team to deliver best in class client outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for supporting the implementation of the new client acquisition strategy and formulate the appropriate tactical and operational plans to achieve the commercial plan.
  • To be client facing and lead strategic sales opportunities, working with the virtual bid team and coordinating multiple partners.
  • Responsible for helping to build the New Acquisition sales function and working as one team to successful sell embedded finance in the market
  • Constantly review and understand sales pipelines and business opportunities, redirecting focus where necessary, and reporting to senior management on progress and performance against individual and team targets.
  • Segment customer groups by target customer type, product offering, geography and operating model, developing go-to-market approaches appropriate to each.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to combine market research, user insights, and product vision to drive strategic decision making and evolve the product offering to remain ahead of the market.
  • Develop short, medium, and long-term sales plans based on payments strategies and work cross functionally with finance, compliance, marketing & product, to achieve those goals.
You\'ll need to have the following skills and experience:
  • 5+ years relevant industry experience selling Embedded Finance and preferably experience of selling Acquiring and/or Gateway solutions with a proven competence in communicating payment technology and payment service concepts
  • Experience in formulating and driving long-term strategic account plans and opportunity pipelines
  • Proven experience in developing compelling sales propositions for, and establishing effective commercial relationships with channel and strategic partners
  • Ability to successfully manage sales deals through the sales process, negotiation, and contract signature, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues
