As an Associate Director of M&A integrations in our Corporate Development team, you will lead the successful integration of newly acquired businesses into the Civica Group. You will work across functions and geographies to deliver seamless transitions that preserve business continuity, enhance customer experience, and unlock long-term value.


You'll bring a strong operational mindset to the role, combining hands-on experience in customer-facing environments (such as customer support, escalations, or service delivery) with a proven track record of managing complex integration programmes. You'll work closely with leadership and stakeholders to design and deliver integration plans that reflect our strategic priorities and cultural values.

What you will do to be successful in this role



Responsibilities

:

Lead end-to-end integration planning and execution for acquisitions, working across all business functions to deliver on synergies, continuity, and value creation goals. Collaborate with functional leads (e.g., customer support, product, sales, finance, HR, IT) to align and execute integration workstreams. Act as the central point of contact for integration efforts, ensuring clear communication, issue resolution, and progress tracking across stakeholders. Bring a customer-first perspective to integrations, ensuring customer experience and service levels remain strong during transitions. Manage integration risks and escalations effectively, drawing on operational expertise to solve problems quickly and pragmatically. Develop and maintain playbooks, tools, and best practices to continuously improve integration capability at Civica. Support due diligence efforts by assessing integration complexity and risks pre-close and shaping post-close plans accordingly. Monitor integration performance metrics and report progress and outcomes to senior leadership.

Requirements



Extensive experience managing M&A integrations. Prior experience in customer support, escalations, service delivery, or a similar operational role, with a deep understanding of customer impact during transitions. Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programmes in a fast-paced, global environment. Strong project and programme management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the confidence to influence and collaborate at all levels. Analytical, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem solving. Experience in the software or technology sector is highly desirable; exposure to private equity-backed businesses is a plus.
