About this opportunity



We're looking for an Associate Director to join the Transactional Structuring team within Transaction Banking Solutions (TBS). This team partners closely with TBS Corporate and Institutional Sales and the Specialist Client Solutions team to support the structuring and execution of transactions across the full transaction banking product suite--including Core Trade, Traditional Trade, Commodity Trade Finance, ECA, Commercial Cards, Asset and Invoice Finance, Merchant Services, and other core Transaction Banking products.


Your accountabilities will include:



Supporting the delivery of P&L targets by helping to grow and manage a portfolio of existing clients. Coordinating the structuring and execution of transactions, including client engagement, credit discussions, legal negotiations, and completion. Assisting in the execution of Transaction Banking Solutions products across trade and payments. Acting as a trusted partner to clients and internal stakeholders, advising on the implementation and impact of Transaction Banking Solutions. Maintaining strong internal relationships across relationship teams, credit, delivery, and product partners. Identifying cross-sell opportunities and introducing relevant TBS product specialists. Building external relationships with professional advisors (e.g. legal, debt advisory, diligence providers). Supporting the development and mentoring of junior colleagues. Ensuring compliance with group policy and regulatory requirements, while identifying and mitigating commercial risks.

What we need from you:



Experience across the trade and capital product spectrum, with the ability to support structuring across open account, traditional trade, structured trade, asset finance, ECA, and Invoice Finance. Proven ability to contribute to deal execution, collaborating effectively with internal and external partners. Familiarity with credit processes, legal documentation, and transaction management.
