About The Role With 120 years\xe2\x80\x99 creative arts experience, we are on a quest to offer the highest standards of teaching and professional facilities, as well as a vibrant creative community. In support of this we are seeking to recruit an Associate Lecturer in Fine Art to join our team to teach and assess both studio and theory-based delivery across all three years of the subject. These exciting roles will include studio and practice-based delivery will be at the Falmouth Campus with some larger group lectures and critical studies seminars.

About You

Educated to degree level, or having equivalent industry experience, the ideal candidate will have evidence of professional visual arts practice and a demonstrable engagement with, and interest in, the dialogues, debates and concepts surrounding contemporary arts and culture. You will have excellent communication skills, and the commitment to deliver an excellent learning experience for students.

We are looking to hear from candidates who also have the following skills/experience:

  • An understanding of the principles and practicalities of face to face and online learning
  • A breadth of knowledge and experience across the field of contemporary fine art practice
  • Strong connections with industry and professional practice
  • Excellent digital literacy
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
