We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Lecturer to teach on our undergraduate optional module Policy, Power and Social Change. This module runs over 15 hours (1.5 hours a week) on Mondays 6-7:30 from October to December with marking into January.
You will have a broad knowledge of teaching critical approaches to public policy to undergraduates on a Criminology and Criminal Justice degree with a particular emphasis on understanding criminal justice institutions, discursive policy announces and sociological theories of power and governmentality.

Remuneration
Payment is based on an hourly rate depending on length of continuous service with the College (starting rate 68.13 per hour inclusive of pro-rata London Allowance and holiday pay) for teaching contact hours worked. This hourly rate is based on the starting point of Grade 7 and is inclusive of a 'Duties Related to Teaching Multiplier' at 2.5 which covers preparation, teaching, administration, assessment marking and other examining duties in connection with the course.
