About the role


------------------


The Bartlett School of Architecture is seeking to appoint a full-time Lecturer (Teaching) position for three-years in the MA Architecture and Historic Urban Environments (MAHUE). MAHUE pioneers a new and critical approach to achieving a more sustainable future by focussing on the historical conditions and inherent inequities in the built environment that have contributed to our current planetary crises as the basis for creative reparative responses. Three key themes of racial, spatial and environmental justice underpin the programme's pedagogical approach and praxis.


About you

Working within a professional, diverse and caring team, the successful applicant will be expected to deliver and support high quality teaching and enabling across designated modules and extra-curricular activities throughout the year, including Admissions, the Autumn Show, workshops, etc. They will prepare classes and teaching materials, and supervise students through essay tutorials, reviews and seminars, including for the Final Project. They will liaise regularly with Programme Directors in planning and delivering programme-wide activities. They will also undertake professional development and research to underpin research-based education in MAHUE.
