About the role
To contribute to the delivery of the Low Intensity training for the Talking Therapies programme at UCL. The Associate Lecturer role is organised over two days a week.
Specific duties include co facilitating the teaching of workshops in core clinical skills across the national curriculum modules, observing and giving feedback on trainees' role play practice, marking course assignments, coordinating trainee feedback, facilitating seminar supervision groups and acting as an Academic Tutor to selected trainees.
We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible. This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 40% on site. This appointment is subject to UCL Terms and Conditions of Service for Research and Professional Services Staff.

About you
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) supporting clients with common mental health problems. The candidate will be either a CBT therapist, clinical psychologist or counselling psychologist. The candidate's experience will include the supervision and training of CBT therapists, as well as CBT teaching. Ideally, the candidate will have had experience of working within a low intensity CBT framework. Candidates will be expected to play an active role in the delivery and development of a new training programme for Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs). This work includes teaching, tutoring trainees and marking assignments. The work has both remote and in-person components.
