Job Description

The role



We are looking to expand our team of inspirational Associate Lecturers who deliver high quality learning experiences with expertise gained through teaching, relevant industry experience or both.

You may be asked to teach both undergraduate and postgraduate students, usually through either a lecture or tutorial format, and may also contribute to the design of some learning activities.

We are looking for a number of Associate Lecturers in the following areas:
MBA (for the MBA programmes, Dissertation supervision and related activities)

IOSH (Events Management students)

You will be contractually enrolled into the Teachers' Pension Scheme (TPS) - one of the largest and most generous defined-benefit pension schemes in the country.

Each year you will earn a secure pension benefit of 1/57th of your salary and the University will pay pension contributions towards the cost of this pension (currently worth about 29% of your salary). For a starting salary of 40,000, for example, the
University would pay just over 11,400 in the first year of your employment and you would earn a pension of 702 p.a. for that year (payable from your State Pension Age).
