We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our organisation adheres to legal standards and internal policies, thereby maintaining our integrity and reputation. This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and the ability to negotiate effectively with various stakeholders.
Duties
Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programmes to ensure adherence to legal standards and internal policies.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters, fostering a culture of compliance within the organisation.
Prepare reports on compliance activities for senior management, highlighting areas of concern or improvement.
Negotiate with external parties as necessary to resolve compliance issues or disputes.
Qualifications
A degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in a compliance role or similar position is advantageous.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with diverse teams.

Eeven Homes works closely with various local authorities to provide accommodation and support related activities. We are currently looking for a legal compliance officer to completely work on the legal compliance side of the business including, the legal documentation and certification required in management of properties leased to various local authorities. In addition, compliance officer will need to visit properties and prepare reports to present to the local council incase of property disrepair and legal claims. The Legal compliance officer will work closely with the director to develop leagal and compliance frame work required for operations of the business. The compliance officer will be required to work from office and can be flexible to work from home as per task in hand.
