Job description

This is a varied and exciting role for an experienced, intelligent and enthusiastic individual looking to drive forward the design and delivery of secure capabilities that will transform the Rosa Service.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Second line resolution of IT network infrastructure at our partner sites worldwide
Monitoring, alerting and maintenance of the ROSA network equipment across partner sites worldwide.
AIS (Acceptance Into Service) and Decommissioning for networking equipment across partner sites worldwide.
Ensuring that all new components and installations meet or exceed the RSO internal and regulatory requirements
Assisting with network changes, and implement according to agreed business processes
Monitoring trends to be able to proactively respond to issues to support the business needs
Assisting in the creation of documentation, processes and policies to ensure necessary governance and reporting is in place.
Assisting more senior team members, learning and developing as required.
Person specification
Essential:
Networking experience at CCNA/JNCIA or equivalent level.
Robust troubleshooting skills.
An understanding of Networking Concepts, such as Transmission Control Protocol, Internet Protocol, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, IP Addressing, Variable Length Subnet Masks, Remote Access, Cabling Systems, Wiring Topologies, and Security
Knowledge of LAN and WAN implementation concepts
Base understanding of IKE, IPSEC, and standard routing protocols (OSPf/BGP)
Desirable:
You will have a Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security or Systems Engineering qualification; or equivalent related qualifications or experience
Experience of working with Agile methodologies
Experience with managing firewall policies
Automation and Scripting skills with relevant language(s)/frameworks; Python, Java, Perl, Bash, Ansible, Resolve, Terraform.
