Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Associate Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and commitment to providing holistic care to patients. As an Osteopath, you will assess, diagnose and treat a variety of musculoskeletal disorders while promoting overall health and well-being through manual therapy techniques.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories and physical conditions.
Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs and goals.
Utilise manual therapy techniques, including stretching, massage, and manipulation, to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
Educate patients on lifestyle changes, exercises, and self-care strategies to enhance recovery and prevent future issues.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in osteopathy and related fields.

Experience

A recognised qualification in osteopathy is essential along with GOsC registration.
Previous experience in a clinical setting is advantageous but not mandatory for newly qualified practitioners.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy is required to effectively assess and treat patients.
Excellent communication skills to engage with patients empathetically and professionally.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
