Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting in the management of health conditions, and promoting overall wellness within our practice. This position requires a strong understanding of anatomy and a commitment to providing exceptional support to patients.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments and record medical histories accurately. Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assist with minor surgical procedures and ensure sterile techniques are followed. Provide education and support to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment plans. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Monitor patients' progress and report any changes in their condition to the medical team. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Ensure the practice environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for all patients.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent qualification with valid nursing registration. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and colleagues. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.

Pay: 18.00-19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 37.50 per week
