Over time you will play a key role in growing sales: providing technical product sales support, presentation and demonstration support, proposal writing and analysing/producing sales quotations. This is an office based role, with occasional travel to customer offices.

The successful candidate will have a Mentor, who will be a Senior Team member. Over time they will learn about Microlise\'s Solutions and what being a successful Pre-Sales Consultant entails. The new consultant will transition to an external role over time - as they climb the career ladder.

What you will be doing:

• Providing assistance and product technical expertise to business development and potential clients in the pursuit of successful sales bids
• Support Sales and Pre-Sales to produce and deliver effective and informative Microlise product presentations
• Quickly gain an excellent understanding of our broad product portfolio
• The ability to gain an understanding of requirements and provide the most effective Microlise solution
• Supporting the team to produce high quality solution proposals in a timely manner

What we\'re looking for:

• Excellent understanding of Computer Science, with skills in APIs, SQL and XML - ideally to Degree level
• Able to understand customer priorities, technical landscape and operational requirements
• Good communicator - who can clearly and confidently convey points and subject matter
• Confident disposition and able to build effective relationships
• Process driven with experience working to deadlines
• Strong documentation and Presentation Skills
