The Role

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

We have an ambitious strategy to launch a series of new wellness products and services to customers. This is an exciting time for H&B and the Associate Product Designer role is crucial in ensuring we deliver to our roadmap and plans.

The Role:

In the Associate Product Designer role, you\'ll be responsible for:

  • Developing the online customer experience to drive customer retention, conversion and satisfaction across mobile and web platforms (e.g. our blood testing app, Ivie)
  • Analysing various goals to map out user flows for current and new features
  • Using qualitative and quantitative data analysis to better inform decisions and priorities
  • Building out wireframes and prototypes for user testing and our agile development work streams
  • Working with our product managers and science lead to record all functional and medical requirements for our developers
  • Communicating interaction design through technically detailed wireframes/prototypes
  • Understanding technical dependencies and requirements to help produce informed solutions
  • Maintaining and helping to shape our Design System which aligns to the Ivie brand guidelines
  • UAT (user acceptance testing) for front-end changes achieved through our development work streams
Requirements:
  • A good understanding of user behaviour and UX/UI best practices
  • Knowledge in responsive design for apps and websites
  • Proficiency in Figma/Sketch
  • Ability to prototype & user test designs
  • Experience or an understanding of A/B and multivariate testing
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate these to stakeholders
  • A positive and creative attitude to change
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience
Location:

Remote with the option to use our offices. We have bases in Nuneaton, London and Burton, and some travel may be required to all locations. There may also be occasional travel outside of the UK. We\'re a global, digitally enabled business and we expect our colleagues to be self-driven and to determine the most appropriate place to work each day to meet the requirements of the role, achieve their best performance and optimum output.
