As we move to a new model focusing on vertical accountabilities that provide the autonomy to deliver against a defined outcome, we are looking to recruit a number of Data Product Owners to lead our product teams to define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Data products, aligning them with the overall business objectives and customer needs.

You\'ll be the Associate Product Owner for our Customer Strategy Data Product. Our Customer Strategy Data Product is the engine behind our objective to create a customer-literate business. You will be accountable for the collection, measurement, analysis, and interpretation of data that creates an informed picture of our customer base - who they are, how they behave and crucially, the key factors that differentiate our most valuable customers. You will partner with our Customer Strategy team to empower them with the insight needed to drive customer-informed decision making across our organisation, and at all levels up to the Leadership Team.

What will I be doing:

As an Associate Product Owner, you will assist the product team to help define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Customer Strategy Data products, aligning it with the overall business objectives and customer needs.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into product features and user stories. You will conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

Your role will involve assisting in defining and prioritising requirements and user stories, ensuring they align with the product vision and deliver the highest value to both customers and the business.

Working closely with the product team, including data engineers, data analysts, modellers, and the technical lead, you will contribute to the definition and refinement of product requirements to ensure successful feature delivery and enhancements. Collaboration with the team will also focus on ensuring the availability, accuracy, and usability of data within the customer strategy data product. Engaging with end-users, you will actively gather feedback, validate product features, and drive continuous improvement and innovation to enhance the product\'s value proposition.

What we\'re looking for: (You will have some of)

  • Some experience / understanding of Product
  • Understanding of Data products - understanding its importance and ensuring all key decisions are data-driven and customer validated.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage competing high-profile priorities
  • The ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience working in Agile frameworks and methodologies
