Job Overview


We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Associate Product Manager to join our Engineering team in Newhaven. In this key role, you'll apply project management expertise to support and enhance project delivery, manage critical documentation, and collaborate across functions to ensure excellence in execution.

Responsibilities



Support engineering and product management on projects or initiatives where appropriate to ensure accurate and current project documentation, communication, and process best practices. Support engineering by administering the ECR process and database for timely completion of critical changes requests. Support product management to document New Product or Sustaining Product requirements via PCR, and collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Customer Relations as needed to complete. Monitor and manage projects regularly, evaluating progress and quality, and managing issue resolution process to ensure corrective actions are taken. Maintain the quality of all project documents/data to assure the integrity of a project. Utilize internal, external, and other resources to achieve set objectives and/or complete projects. Analyze data and recognize detrimental trends, including manufacturing and supply chain quality, that could impact the company through increased costs, potential regulatory issues, or other risks. Develop schedules and cost estimates for large and complex projects. Provide support to employees in production, purchasing, and quality. Commit to customer service with maintained customer focus and customer involvement. Work with their North American counterpart to improve and develop Smartsheet-based product release forms, opportunity price requests for EMEA, and other documentation as requested. Complete additional tasks and duties as assigned by the Global VP of Product, EMEA Engineering Manager and EMEA Product Managers. Maintain a clean and safe work area, take action to correct safety issues, or report safety concerns to the team. Comply with apg's Quality System.

Requirements



At least 5 years of experience in engineering management or technical project management. ISO knowledge and experience as an internal auditor is preferred Good verbal and written communication skills Good interpersonal and customer service skills Good organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel Experience using SolidWorks or other CAD systems preferred Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees Work independently with a sense of ownership and responsibility for quality going in and out.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
