In this exciting role, you'll work alongside experienced Physiologists to support the diagnostic pathway for patients referred for lung function assessment. You'll be part of a team that's passionate about delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes within the Trust.

What we're looking for:

Ideally, 12 months' experience in an acute healthcare setting



Ability to work independently with minimal supervision



Strong written and verbal communication skills



Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise workload



No experience? No problem!

In this varied and hands-on role, you'll be involved in planning and performing a range of diagnostic assessments that are vital to patient diagnosis and treatment. You'll also carry out initial interpretations, helping to shape clinical decisions.

Your day-to-day will include:

Spirometry and bronchodilator reversibility testing



Exhaled nitric oxide and impulse oscillometry (IOS)



Full pulmonary function testing



6-minute walk tests



Supporting Sleep & CPAP Services

You'll work closely with our sleep physiologists to assist long-term patients in managing their therapy, offering guidance and care that makes a real difference to their quality of life.

We're looking for someone who's curious, caring, and ready to learn. In this role, you'll be hands-on with a range of diagnostic tests that help shape patient care--and you'll be supported every step of the way to build your skills and confidence.

What you'll be doing:

Carrying out key respiratory assessments like spirometry, bronchodilator reversibility, exhaled nitric oxide, IOS, full pulmonary function testing, and 6-minute walk tests.



Helping interpret results and contribute to care planning using national guidelines (ARTP, ERS, ATS).



Supporting our sleep and CPAP team--guiding long-term patients in managing their therapy and making a real impact on their quality of life.
