Learning Resources Ltd also sells and distributes a wide product range from our wider family of brands including Hand2Mind and Educational Insights as well as holding the global Master Toy License for Numberblocks.

Team & Position Description:



This is an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing Team as an Associate Trade Marketing Manager. This role bridges marketing and sales by ensuring brand visibility, driving sell-through, and delivering impactful in-store and e-commerce experiences. The ideal candidate combines commercial awareness with strong executional capabilities and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

What you'll do day to day (responsibilities):



Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and optimisation of trade marketing plans in line with brand and sales strategy. The role will be heavily focused on our international expansion and supporting international trade partners.

Trade Campaign Execution

- Develop and execute trade marketing campaigns with our retail and education partners. This will include both bricks and mortar stores and e-commerce platforms, helping to strengthen the Learning Resources brand and drive customer engagement across channels. This includes promotions, in-store fixtures and branding, e-commerce optimisation and POS.

Retailer Collaboration and Customer Relationships

- Coordinate with sales teams and retail partners to implement marketing initiatives tailored to different trade channels (social channels, email marketing, POS, retailer media).

Visibility & Visual Merchandising

- Work closely with the sales team to ensure merchandising compliance. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of visual merchandising efforts regularly.

Event Support -

Supporting key customers with trade events to drive awareness of LR products.

Data & Insights Reporting

- Track campaign performance, gather market intelligence, and compile trade feedback to support continuous improvement and decision-making.

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with the Brand, Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to align execution with business goals and timelines

Communication

- Participate in regular customer meetings, developing and delivering compelling presentation decks tailored to diverse internal and external stakeholders.

What we are looking for (Key Performance Objectives)



Execution of Trade Marketing Plans:

Support the implementation of trade marketing initiatives in line with brand and sales strategy with 100% of planned initiatives executed on time and a measurable increase in reach of our brand messaging through trade partners.

Retail Visibility & Merchandising:

Ensure consistent and high-quality in-store visibility across key retail channels to achieve international sales targets with minimum of one international retail initiative per month aligned to brand and sales priorities.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

: Delivery of quarterly report to track trade trends, competitor activities, and promotional outcomes to inform future planning and trade marketing innovation.

Budget Management:

Oversee and optimise budget allocation for all trade-related initiatives across designated customer accounts, ensuring cost efficiency and maximum return on investment, while maintaining budget variance within 5%.

Requirements/Ideal Attributes

Collaborative mindset and experience working on cross-functional projects. Demonstrated track record of accountability and project ownership. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient at briefing internal and external creative partners and suppliers.
Role will require international travel 2-3 times per year.
