Are you passionate about developing elite-level female rugby players? Do you have the expertise to deliver high-quality strength and conditioning programmes within a professional academy environment?


Exeter College is seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Trainer as a 'Strength and Conditioning Lead' to play a key role in enhancing player performance in our Women's Rugby Academy, in partnership with

Exeter Chiefs.



What You'll Be Doing



Deliver elite-level strength & conditioning sessions for individuals and groups, aligned with the Exeter Chiefs U23 and Women's pathways Design smart, progressive programmes in collaboration with College and Chiefs coaching staff Lead on performance testing, tracking progress and ensuring safety across the board Work closely with DiSE learners, building trust and enhancing their performance and fitness Support injury rehab and tapering, alongside Sports Therapy specialists Advise on nutrition, recovery, rest and hydration, driving a holistic approach to player wellbeing Maintain a high-performance environment with professionalism and purpose Engage in quality assurance to keep standards sharp and delivery on point Report regularly to the Sports Academy Area Manager, sharing insights and progress Collaborate with the Women's Rugby Academy Lead, tracking how strength impacts performance

What You'll Bring



Experience of Strength & Conditioning within Rugby and ideally Women's sport. Recognised Strength & Conditioning qualifications The ability to motivate and inspire learners / players A flexible approach to working arrangements
