The Advanced Therapy Treatment Centres (ATTC) Network Programme is a groundbreaking initiative, creating a system of ATTCs within the NHS framework, coordinated by CGT Catapult. This network addresses the unique challenges of introducing pioneering Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) to patients. The network has been operational since 2018 and has secured funding for an additional approximate 3 years. The overarching objective is to expand and fully integrate the network into the NHS and establish the UK as a primary site for clinical trials of ATMPs.
The ATTC Project Manager plays a vital role in the success of the ATTC Network and the acceleration of ATMP clinical trial initiation and execution and ultimately adoption of ATMPs by the NHS. With substantial funding and ambitious goals, the ATTC Network aims to enhance the NHS's capacity and capability to conduct high-quality clinical trials for ATMPs, ultimately increasing patient access to transformative medicines. The ATTC Project Manager will work closely with the Director of ATTC Network Coordination to support the delivery of this large and complex programme of work across a National network aimed at developing the UK Clinical Trial Infrastructure. The network involves a large number of collaborators across a diverse range of organisations including Hospital Trusts, Academic and Government organisations and Industry.###
