Bradfields Academy, part of Fortis Trust, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly organised Attendance Officer to join our friendly and dedicated Administration and Pastoral teams.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our students by promoting excellent attendance and supporting engagement across the academy. You will play a crucial role in improving outcomes by working closely with families, staff and external agencies to identify and reduce barriers to attendance.
In addition to your core attendance responsibilities, you will provide general administrative support and contribute to maintaining the smooth running of the academy's front office, ensuring a warm and professional welcome to all visitors.
We are looking for a candidate who:
Has previous experience in an administrative role and is confident using Microsoft Office.
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Has a sound understanding of safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality.
Is proactive, dependable, flexible and thrives in a busy environment.
Enjoys working as part of a wider team supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
Experience of using SIMS or working in an educational setting would be advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided.
