We're now seeking an experienced and motivated
Audio Visual Service Engineer
to join our friendly and growing commercial team.
The Role
As an
Audio Visual Service Engineer
, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of AV systems for our business clients. You'll work both on-site and remotely to ensure all equipment performs to the highest standard and that our clients receive exceptional service at every stage.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of audio-visual systems and components
Carry out on-site service visits, system checks, and preventative maintenance
Provide technical support to clients and the internal project team
Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
Ensure all work complies with company standards, health & safety, and best practices
About You
We're looking for someone with a solid background in AV engineering and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in servicing and maintaining commercial AV systems
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Familiarity with AV technologies such as CISCO, Poly, Yealink and Logitech teams Room Systems, Crestron, Q-SYS and Biamp, etc.
Understanding of networking principles relevant to AV systems (IP configuration, VLANs, etc.)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Clean Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
Industry certifications (e.g. CTS, manufacturer training, etc.)
Experience working in corporate, education, or retail environments
Basic electrical and cabling knowledge
Ideally located in the West Sussex Area
