We are seeking a skilled and creative Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio and visual equipment for various events. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality audio-visual experiences that engage and inspire audiences. Responsibilities
Assist with documenting client technology requirements
Shadow site surveys and help gather basic room and infrastructure data
Learn to interpret drawings and specifications
Support the production of presentation material and reports
Begin using tools like AutoCAD and Excel for basic design layouts and data
collection
Contribute to system designs under supervision
Liaise with suppliers and gather technical information
Help prepare proposal documents and RFPs
Attend site visits to observe installation progress and client coordination
Continuation and completion of formal academic study (day release or block
release)
Skills
A-Level qualifications (or equivalent) with strong performance in STEM subjects
Genuine interest in AV, IT, acoustics and technology systems in the built environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Comfortable working with numbers, drawings, and technical document
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Enthusiastic, organised, and self-motivated
Eligible to study a degree apprenticeship in the UK
