At Baily Garner we have a fantastic new opportunity for an Audit and Risk Manager in our Eltham office to lead business compliance using the three-line defence model.

Key Responsibilities




Establish and manage second line assurance, ensuring robust compliance and risk management across the organisation.


Implement frameworks for health & safety, ISO standards, CHAS, B-Corp, financials, ESG, and governance.


Conduct risk-based audits, report findings, and drive improvements.


Maintain ongoing compliance with accreditations like ISO 9001/14001 and B-Corp through monitoring and preparation.


Develop governance tools and track actions for timely resolution.


Produce assurance reports and dashboards for senior management.


Build stakeholder relationships, promote a culture of improvement and collaboration.


Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring actionable outcomes.

Requirements




Qualified internal auditor (ACCA, CIA or equivalent) with audit and risk management experience.


Expertise in high-risk audits, governance frameworks, and compliance reporting.


Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.


Analytical ability for data insights and dashboard/report production.


Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, ISO standards, and health & safety.


Integrity, ethical judgement, and collaborative approach.


Adaptable to change; able to work with senior stakeholders.


Passion for improvement, curiosity, digital assurance opportunities, and professional services governance.


Sector experience in housing, construction consultancy, or related industries is a plus.
