A top 60 accountancy firm is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Audit Assistant Manager to join their growing Cambridge office. With a diverse client portfolio ranging from entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses to large international groups and not-for-profit organisations, this role offers a unique opportunity to build on your audit experience within a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Role Responsibilities
Lead small audit engagements and assist in the delivery of larger audits across a wide-ranging client portfolio.
Plan and execute audits in compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS where applicable.
Prepare statutory accounts for Limited companies, LLPs, charities, and not-for-profits.
Provide assistance on corporation tax matters for a variety of businesses.
Maintain direct client contact, building strong working relationships.
Work closely with other members of the Corporate Services team to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
Personal Requirements
Recently qualified ACA/ACCA (or qualified by experience) finalists will also be considered with support offered to complete qualifications.
Demonstrable audit experience in a UK accountancy practice.
Strong knowledge of UK GAAP IFRS exposure desirable.
Working knowledge of corporation tax and accounts preparation.
Experience with CCH software or similar accountancy packages is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
