Hours:

Full-time, permanent, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5.30 pm

Salary:

40,000-50,000 per annum, 25 Days Holidays plus Bank Holidays, Company Pension.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced

Audit Manager

to join our finance team on an

interim basis for an initial 6-month period

, with the potential for extension. This position offers flexible working arrangements, with the option to work Hybrid, or from our Basingstoke office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the

financial year 2024 audit

, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulatory standards, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across financial and operational processes. This position reports directly to the

Financial Controller

and involves close collaboration with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and management of audits across financial and operational areas. Coordinate and manage the delivery of the FY 2024 year-end audit in alignment with statutory and regulatory requirements. Assess existing systems, processes, and controls to identify risks and areas for improvement Develop comprehensive audit reports and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to senior management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit outcomes and drive process enhancements. Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Requirements

ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification. Minimum of 3 years' experience in audit, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of UK financial regulations and auditing standards. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
