HaysMac is an award-winning firm of chartered accountants and tax advisors, with 41 partners, 22 directors and over 600 staff, providing advice and services to entrepreneurs, fast-growing and owner-managed businesses, charities and not for profit organisations across the UK and internationally. From our trainees to our partners, our culture of support and progression means we grow together as one firm to best help our clients.
Established in January 2024, our office in Cape Town is home to 40 of our employees ranging from audit professionals and tax specialists to key members of the firm's internal functions. We opened this office with one clear objective: to attract and retain the right talent, with the right skills to ensure the high quality of service we offer our clients. We are proud that we have achieved significant growth in the number of colleagues based in Cape Town, welcoming a cohort of graduate trainees for the first time in January 2025. This expansion is testament to our commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in our service offerings.
Our award-winning culture forms the backbone of how we operate and is key to our long-standing client relationships. We have worked hard to maintain that culture as we have grown, forming a cohesive team operating seamlessly across two locations. One of the crucial aspects of this is the integration of tools and systems. Both offices use the same technology platforms, ensuring consistency in operations and communication. Our clients work with our UK and South African colleagues interchangeably. Looking ahead, we remain committed to furthering the growth and integration of our Cape Town office, attracting top talent and offering unrivaled training, development opportunities and career progression.
