A well-established accountancy practice is looking for a Senior within its Audit & Assurance team. You'll play a key part in delivering high-quality audit and financial reporting services, managing a diverse portfolio of clients and supporting the continued development of junior team members.

Role Responsibilities

Manage and deliver audits from planning through to completion for a varied portfolio of clients. Prepare statutory accounts and corporate tax computations in line with UK requirements. Provide clear, practical guidance on areas such as UK GAAP, IFRS, VAT and company law. Maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact for advice and support. Supervise and review the work of junior colleagues, providing on-the-job training and feedback. Contribute to workflow planning and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and within deadlines. Support senior management with ad hoc tasks and wider business initiatives as required.

Personal Requirements

ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified (or equivalent). Proven experience in external audit within practice, ideally across a range of industries. Sound technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP. Strong communication and organisational skills. A proactive approach to mentoring, supporting and developing junior staff. Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities effectively.
