. Due to continued growth, they're now looking to welcome an experienced
Audit Senior
to their close-knit audit team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, client interaction and taking real ownership of their work, without the rigid, corporate feel of a large firm.
The Role
As Audit Senior, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality audit assignments to a diverse portfolio of SME clients across a range of sectors. You'll be trusted to manage audits from planning through to completion, while mentoring junior team members and building strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning, leading and completing audit assignments
Acting as the main point of contact for clients during audits
Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and providing guidance
Preparing statutory accounts and related documentation
Identifying risks and delivering practical, value-added advice
Supporting partners and managers on larger or more complex audits
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys working collaboratively, takes pride in your work and communicates confidently with both colleagues and clients.
You'll ideally have:
ACA / ACCA qualification (or be close to qualifying)
Previous experience in an audit-focused role within practice
Strong technical knowledge of UK audit and accounting standards
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive, approachable and team-oriented mindset
