Role purpose




To act as the Audit Senior in undertaking audits of financial statements and/or other assurance work.


Core responsibilities




Work under the oversight of Audit Director and Audit Manager. Run audit and/or other assurance engagements from planning to completion based on agreed deadlines. Work as part of a bigger team on larger audit assignments. Produce comprehensive and accurate audit files and working papers. Liaise with clients on audit requirements, arrange meetings, discussion of issues and status updates and others. Complete other engagement management tasks such as KYC updates, WIP analysis, billing of ongoing and completed work, and other ad hoc client-related work. Timely communicate any potential overruns on engagements assigned to Audit Manager and Audit Director and agree and carryout course of action Participates in quality control reviews and implementation of quality control improvements. Undertake and satisfactorily complete all professional development training required by the company.

Technical / Professional / Qualifications Preference




Qualified Accountant (by qualification through the Professional body); or Functional Qualification relevant to function; and * Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
