We're looking for a sharp, driven Audit Supervisor to take charge of a dynamic portfolio of audit and statutory accounts clients. Key Accountabilities




Statutory Accounts


Review of statutory financial statements and accompanying working papers prepared by Assistants, Semi-Seniors and Seniors. Assist the supervisor/assistant manager/manager in preparing audit quotes and budgets for an assignment.

Audit


Manage a small portfolio of clients, organising the portfolio and assignments from start to finish. Perform thorough management review of planning, fieldwork and finalisation. For larger or complex audit assignments: Plan audit for manager review Complete fieldwork for manager review Prepare finalisation for manager review Manage own time and manage others time in order to meet internal and external deadlines. Keep a good control of budgetary and time constraints ensuring that jobs make at least 90% recoverability, providing explanation where they do not meet this threshold. Visit clients' premises to complete reviews or fieldwork when required.

General


Set a strong example to the Seniors/Semi-Seniors/Assistants in relation to leadership, professionalism, positivity, attitude and punctuality. Communicate clearly with the team, encouraging key skills such as prioritising, planning and delegation. Be actively involved in scheduling discussions with the management team where appropriate for clients Develop good client relationships and an awareness of other services available across the ZEDRA group. Support team members in technical queries Assist in the training of junior/new members of staff Liaise with other departments to ensure efficient work and good customer service Develop a strong technical knowledge by attending technical training courses and webinars, ensuring up to date knowledge and relaying this back to the team where necessary General administrative duties

Knowledge & Experience




Experience of leading audit engagement teams Confident liaising with client contacts and being the main client contact through the course of an audit Preferably both UK GAAP and IFRS experience Ideally experience of using CaseWare audit software Qualified, preferably ACA but ACCA or other qualifications may be considered Responsible for a portfolio of low to medium risk audits and statutory accounts clients (80/20 split)
