Job Description
Inspection & Lab Supervisor
- Gloucester \xe2\x80\x93 Permanent Opportunity \xe2\x80\x93 fulltime
- Day Shifts M-F
- Salary Up To \xe2\x80\x93 \xc2\xa328,000 DOE
What are the responsibilities?
- Testing raw materials and finished products to in house and external testing requirements
- Completing testing reports and logging all results
- Preparing test samples for testing
- Raising Non-conformances detected from the test results
- Keep equipment in a clean and serviceable condition and ensure the safe removal of waste
- Ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced and that everything is clearly and correctly labelled
- When required, supporting technical with development testing and requirements
- Engineering / Manufacturing background.
- Ability to read and interrogate specifications and work methods.
- Experienced in lab techniques.
- Experienced in use of Microsoft office
- Desirable \xe2\x80\x93 Experience in mechanical and raw materials testing
- Excellent attention to detail
- Methodical and organised
