We specialise in all types of Mobility Vehicles and Equipment with the Installation of Vehicle Adaptations for disabled drivers and passengers. We pride ourselves on our excellent reputation with customers and suppliers alike.

Due to continued growth, we are currently looking to expand our team and are looking for a workshop-based Auto Electrician to join our close working team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, safety protocols, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities

Install, test, and re-route existing electrical wiring systems, in accordance with relevant regulations and standards. Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to minimise downtime and ensure safety. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment. Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics accurately. Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget. Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation, including risk assessments and method statements. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out.

Skills

Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems. Mechanical knowledge to assist with integrating electrical components into larger mechanical systems. Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and multimeters. Competence in using power tools safely and effectively for installation and repair tasks. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail to diagnose issues accurately. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Pay: 26,000.00-35,000.00 per year
