Workshop / Mobile Auto Electrician
to join our team and play a key role in
diagnosing, repairing and maintaining the electrical systems on our fleet of plant machinery -- ensuring it performs safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard

What you'll do
As an essential part of the
Workshop & Maintenance
team, you'll:
Diagnose and repair electrical systems on a wide range of plant and equipment
Carry out routine maintenance and servicing in line with manufacturer schedules
Install and repair electrical accessories on plant machinery
Identify and resolve electrical faults, damage, or wear that could affect performance
Report defects and ensure repairs are completed before equipment is rehired
Collaborate with the maintenance team to meet customer requirements and specifications
Ensure all plant meets
Health & Safety
regulations including
LOLER
and
PUWER
compliance
Maintain accurate service and inspection records
Work safely, efficiently, and respectfully in a busy workshop or site environment
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who brings technical skill, passion, and a can-do attitude to this role.
Proven experience in
plant or automotive electrics / maintenance
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in
Plant Maintenance, Auto Electrics, or Mechanical Engineering
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability across electrical systems
Competence in installing, repairing, and testing electrical components
Must have own tooling suitable for the role
A focus on delivering safe and reliable service, right first time
Willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges
Reliability, honesty, and teamwork
Flexibility to meet customer needs and deadlines
Full UK driving licence (essential for mobile fitters)
