Job Summary

We're looking for an experienced, NVQ Level 2 Qualified Auto Mechanic for our workshop in Burntwood. This role involves the inspection, maintenance and repair of plant and machinery, and auto electrical installation on vehicles and plant including trackers, new fit outs and general vehicle electrics.

Responsibilities

Inspection, maintenance, and repair of plant and machinery, vehicles and equipment. Conduct routine checks to ensure equipment is in proper working condition. Perform basic maintenance tasks, including lubrication, filter replacement and minor repairs. Assist in identifying and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in equipment. Collaborate with skilled mechanics within the workshop area. Follow safety protocols and procedures when conducting repairs. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs. Report any critical issues or safety concerns to the supervisor. Ensure proper care, organisation, and maintenance of tools and equipment. Assist in making necessary repairs, replacements, and adjustments to equipment components. Auto Electrics on vehicles and plant including Trackers, New fit outs and general vehicle electrics. Any other duties as required to meet business needs.

Qualifications & Experience

Level 2 NVQ Auto Mechanic Full drivers licence Experience of working in a similar role preferred.

Skills & Aptitudes

Enthusiasm and passion to ensure that all Crown Highways work is delivered in a manner without compromise on safety, quality or customer service. Understanding of of the importance of meeting client and customer requirements. Ability to work as part of a team.
