Auto Mechanic
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, qualified level 3 Mechanic to join our team at E-ppl, we are leading suppliers of Managed Services within the automotive industry. The mechanic will support our customer based in the Midlands.
A certification in IMI level 3 in Electric Hybrid systems Repair and Replacement is essential
The Mechanic will have good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Knowledge and experience with complex mechanical or electronic systems is also expected.
Auto Mechanic duties and responsibilities
Battery Removal
Engine Removal & Installation
Inspect vehicle engine.
Inspect mechanical and electrical components.
Pre- and Post-overhaul
Diagnose issues timely and accurately.
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems.
Conduct regular maintenance work such as replacing fluids, lubricating parts.
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
Requirements:
IMI level 3 in Electric Hybrid systems Repair and Replacement is essential 3 years of experience as an Auto Mechanic or similar role Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills

Hours of work are Monday - Friday - 12-hour day shifts and Monday to Thursday 12 hour night shifts
Ongoing contract paid limited company or via umbrella company - Outside of IR35
20.00 per hour, possible weekend overtime with premium rate
Onsite parking
