We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to accurately diagnose problems Carry out equipment repairs and maintenance to ensure workshop safety and efficiency Assist with vehicle assembly and component installation as required Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair procedures and addressing client concerns Undertake heavy lifting of vehicle parts and equipment safely during repairs or maintenance tasks

Requirements

Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role with a strong mechanical knowledge base Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and vehicle assembly processes Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and equipment repair techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues and completing repairs Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
