Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

AutoCAD Designer

to join our team and provide design and drafting support to our team of technicians. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in AutoCAD, a solid understanding of technical drawings, and the ability to collaborate effectively with field and office personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and modify 2D technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD based on input from technicians and engineers. Interpret technical information, sketches, and specifications to produce accurate, professional-grade drawings. Coordinate closely with technicians to ensure designs meet project requirements and field conditions. Update and maintain drawing records and documentation in accordance with company standards. Ensure timely delivery of drawings to support project schedules. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress and resolve design challenges.

Requirements:

Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting required; 3D modeling a plus). Proven experience in a similar CAD drafting role, preferably in a technical or engineering environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Familiarity with industry-specific standards and practices (e.g., electrical, mechanical, civil, or architectural, depending on field). Diploma or certification in drafting/design or a related technical field is preferred.

Working Hours:

36 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 24,420.00 per year
