Summary

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman to join our dynamic team located in our workshop in Barnsley. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming conceptual designs into detailed drawings that align with our mission of delivering high-quality steel products.

Responsibilities

Create detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet specifications. Prepare schematics and layouts for fabrication processes. Revise drawings based on feedback from team members. Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions. Assist in the development of project timelines and deliverables. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Undertake site visits and site surveys when required.

Qualifications

Proficient in AutoCAD, Drafting, and Mechanical Design. Strong understanding of CAD software. Familiarity with construction processes and industry standards. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
