As part of our continued growth within our Fire & Security Division, we are now seeking an experienced and reliable Automatic Gate Engineer to join our expanding team, supporting key contracts across London and the surrounding areas.

The Role
The Automatic Gate Engineer will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated gates, barriers, bollards, and access control systems across social housing and commercial properties. You'll be responsible for ensuring all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of compliance and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Install, service, and repair automated gates, barriers, bollards, and access systems.
Conduct fault-finding and maintenance on a range of gate automation systems.
Work with various manufacturer brands and equipment.
Deliver works to industry standards, ensuring quality and compliance at all times.
Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, residents, and internal teams.
Ensure all documentation and reports are completed accurately and promptly.
Provide support and guidance to team members when required.
Take ownership for the quality and safety of all work delivered.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
Minimum 3 years' experience in the Gate & Barrier industry (preferred but not essential).
Strong understanding of gate automation systems and controls.
Experience working on a range of manufacturer systems.
Excellent technical and fault-finding skills.
Ability to work independently with a positive, proactive attitude.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Desirable certifications include: IPAF - CSCS / ECS - DHF / Gate Safe - City & Guilds (Electrical or Mechanical)
We will also consider applicants from electrical, mechanical, or access control backgrounds who are keen to train and develop within the gate automation sector.
