We are seeking a skilled Automatic gate engineer, must have minimum 2 years experience in installing and maintaining automatic gates and barriers.
Ideal candidate will be Hertfordshire based and experienced in carrying out full gate installations and repairs, Will also be need to be willing to work as part of a team, most of our work is Hertfordshire based and use of a van will be provided to the right candidate. The candidate should also be DHF or Gate safe qualified.
Duties
Install electric gates
Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with automatic gates, providing timely repairs as needed.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions for their automatic door requirements.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations performed.
Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in automatic gate technology.
Skills
Proficient in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting techniques related to automatic gates.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations pertaining to automatic door systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
A valid driving licence is essential for travel between job sites.
