Job Description


  • Become an Operations and technical integrity focused Automation, Telecoms and Operational Technology (OT) Engineer, working in a team of renewable automation and telecoms discipline engineers.
  • Responsible for delivering operational support and Life cycle engineering of automation, telecoms, network, cybersecurity, and operational technology (OT) equipment on Equinor\xe2\x80\x99s Greater Wash renewable assets.
  • Ensuring implementation of all Automation and Telecoms related maintenance programs, including OT cybersecurity.
  • Facilitating the upgrade of operational SCADA and CMS systems to ensure continued safe and secure operations.
  • Managing the technical document library to ensure accurate information is maintained for the operational assets.
  • Identifying and implementing regional synergies to enhance performance of our operational assets.
  • Provide Operational feedback to promote a Continuous Improvement culture.

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree, although relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications.
  • A good technical understanding of automation and network equipment, preferably from an operations and maintenance background.
  • Experience of working in some of the following areas would be preferable:
  • Industrial Automation Control Systems including Logic Solvers, SCADA and field buses, field equipment and sensor technology.
  • Networking including CISCO IOS and fieldbus protocols.
  • Telecommunications systems including analogue and digital radio, wireless data transmission, inter and intra-organisation voice communication, CCTV and multiplexing Cyber Security.
