38,000 - 42,000 annually DOE

Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm


Advanced Plastics are seeking an Automation Project Designer to join our Engineering team. We are an injection-moulded plastics manufacturer supplying some of the leading names in the automotive, heating and cooling industries, delivering excellence every day.

This is a fantastic opportunity which will see you leading the design and delivery of innovative automation solutions within the Company. You will be enhancing our automation capabilities using CAD software and will be ensuring safe and efficient implementation of new systems across our site.

Responsibilities:



Leading the delivery of automation engineering projects, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule and technical specifications Maintain full visibility of projects from initiation to close-out, ensuring clear communications across teams Prepare feasibility studies, cost estimations and timeline analyses for new automation initiatives Upholding and demonstrating our core values of

About you:



Proficient in 2D and 3D design packages (e.g AutoCAD, Fusion260 etc). Strong understanding of automated machinery in FMCG or similar environments. Experience carrying out mechanical/electrical designs for automated equipment. Strong personality with the ability to motivate others Ideally HND or degree educated.
