KWL is looking for experienced Automotive Electrician to join our Fleet team, to help maintain our continually expanding fleet of vehicles, equipment, and plant machinery.

KWL Fleet provide a comprehensive service to ensure that HCC have a high availability of vehicles to effectively deliver their services to the local community. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable candidates to deliver a high standard of work, whilst ensuring Company and legislative requirements are maintained.

We procure, purchase and maintain all the Authority's vehicles and plant, along with our own fleet of KWL vans. Currently we manage circa 600 vehicles, and 1100 assets in total.

Earnings:

Basic salary 35,469 per annum

40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Alternating shift pattern

Approximately 600 per year attendance allowance

The main requirements are for you to have/be:

Extensive experience in Automotive Electrics Full current Driving Licence Relevant qualifications/skills/experience in the diagnosis of complex electrical system faults Proficient in using vehicle diagnostic equipment/software/electrical testing equipment Carry out installations to a high standard (i.e. camera systems, beacons, telemetry etc) HGV/LCV Drivers Licence (desirable) Ability to remove/refit mechanical components etc to rectify faults
