Leading supplier to the off highway and specialist vehicle industry, require a multiple Product Development Engineers to support the delivery of new products to market. ASL Technical is working closely with this Tier 1 supplier to the automotive original equipment manufacturers and specialist vehicle builders global, for the delivery of early warning systems, to meet global legislation.

The roles themselves are for graduate engineers with at least 12 months relevant experience gained in industry, post university. The Product Development Engineers will primarily support the development and approval of commercial vehicle safety systems. The ideal candidate will have experience of electronics, plastic mounting systems and automotive development activity.

The main purpose of the role is to lead the development, liaising with global suppliers, local prototype manufacture and the testing of components for sign off. This position will be predominantly at product level, requiring good understanding of defining and managing requirements, electronic and mechanical design, product verification and validation and with an appreciation for software development.
