Culverwells is a well-established, family-run business based in Robertsbridge. We have been supplying and servicing Subaru cars and Isuzu pick-ups for nearly 40 years, and have proudly delivered a premium customer experience for over 90 years.

We are now looking to recruit an experienced

Service Manager

to oversee and develop the vehicle workshop side of our business, working closely with our Sales and Parts departments and their managers.

The Role

As Service Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our service department. You will lead a small, experienced team and be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while driving performance and growth within the workshop.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of the vehicle workshop and MOT lane Leading and supporting a team of 3 experienced technicians and a service advisor Liaising closely with Sales and Parts departments Completing, invoicing, and processing all workshop work Managing and submitting warranty claims through Subaru and Isuzu systems Handling customer enquiries and resolving complaints professionally Monitoring performance, costs, and efficiency within the department Identifying opportunities for improvement, growth, and expansion Keeping up to date with industry developments and manufacturer standards
About You

Previous experience in a Service Manager or similar automotive role Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of workshop operations Confident with customer service, upselling, and complaint resolution Organised, results-driven, and comfortable managing people and processes Familiarity with manufacturer warranty systems (Subaru/Isuzu desirable) Shares our values of honesty, quality, care, and customer-focused service

Pay: 35,000.00-48,000.00 per year
